SOAPware - Quick Reference Error Guide.


The information in this article applies to: SOAPware 4.X

Missing SOAPware Account – to add it go to:  Start > Programs > SOAPware > Server > Data Manager > Login > click Actions > click Add SOAPware Account.

No Database Mappings – to add them go to:  Start > Programs > SOAPware > click Client Database Setup (old versions Client Connection Tool) select the server from the Drop Down Box, SQL Authentication > click Add DSNs.

SW Charts is not mapped correctly.  Check ODBC – Control Panel > Admin. Tools > Data Sources (ODBC)

SW Codes is not mapped correctly.  Check ODBC – Control Panel > Admin. Tools > Data Sources (ODBC)

SW Exchange is not mapped correctly.  Check ODBC – Control Panel > Admin. Tools > Data Sources (ODBC)

SW Images is not mapped correctly.  Check ODBC – Control Panel > Admin. Tools > Data Sources (ODBC)

 

SW Trans is not mapped correctly.  Check ODBC – Control Panel > Admin. Tools > Data Sources (ODBC)

SW Users is not mapped correctly.  Check ODBC – Control Panel > Admin. Tools > Data Sources (ODBC)

SQL Server Error: 2 - SQL Server is not being detected.  Check to see if SQL Server is running & status of connection.

 

SQL Server Error: 53 - SQL Server is being blocked by Firewall.

If it is Windows XP Service Pack 2 Firewall - click here.

4.85 – Installed.  Check for old versions in Control Panel > Add\Remove Programs > Uninstall them > Repair the 4.85 Install > then run c:\SOAPware\NewDBs\UpdateDB2.exe

When running UpdateDB2, one of the database files are mapped incorrectly - Check ODBC – Control Panel > Admin. Tools > Data Sources (ODBC).
